Gasthof Engel in Kaufbeuren

At Christmas we picked up ordered food. At the entrance we were greeted with a non-alcoholic punch by 3 friendly employees. The meal was ready in no time and we could drive. The dishes were extremely good and also completely sufficient and also still hot when we got home. We were very satisfied. Many Thanks

In times of corona you have to know how to help yourself. Crussed ice from the tank, sushi bulgur salad, magnum ice cream and beer in the converted rubbish bin. Zack TV on and enjoyed Warrior. Hotel super clean and very friendly family business. We recommend.

Very cozy. Good food and friendly service. Twice a year you should definitely try steak weeks. It's always on the website.

I was with you for the first time yesterday. I ordered a salad with gyros. Unfortunately the lettuce leaves were very badly washed. When I pointed this out to the waitress, the question came up whether I would like another one, which I didn't want, because I was hungry for the earth in my mouth. What I found very sad that I would still have to pay the entire bill.

The bull at the door is faking false facts. Steak weeks were disappointing. Anyone who makes so much of a stir about their steak should also have something to offer.

Very good food, not very cheap but reasonably priced

Just had to cancel seats because something came up. Very nice staff at the Telegon. Was absolutely no problem. Super!!!

locally nice ...... daily meal was delicious .... rehragout was not so good .... service, although nothing was going on, underground ..... unfriendly ... had to wait forever for drinks ... had they forget ..... while eating tables and chairs pressed ... does not work that way .... have been there a few times, jam-packed and everything was fine ... not understandable

A very great inn 👍 Susanne received a very polite and courteous reception. The room was very nice and, above all, very clean 👍 also in the bathroom everything was very much to my satisfaction 👍. The breakfast (Ms. Martin👍 left nothing to be desired) was very good and above all it was plentiful and there was something for everyone 👍. You have to praise the staff who are responsible for the rooms 👍. The owner can be proud of his staff, who do a very good job. Unfortunately I can't judge the food, but it wasn't my last stay at Gasthof Engel and I will make up for it. Despite Coron, everyone is doing a good job here. "Keep it up"

Very nice gasthof close enough for a visit to Skyline Park. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet and the bathrooms allmost too clean to use. We also had nice dinner at the garden. The staff were very helpfull and happy to answer any questions.

A great hotel and a very good restaurant. The room was clean and very spacious. We also had a balcony. The bathroom was also spacious. In the evening we went to eat in our own restaurant and we liked it. Great regional dishes and the price absolutely appropriate and fair. A place to feel good and linger. The beer garden also made a very good impression.

Great staff, friendly wait staff and very good cuisine create a feel-good atmosphere. Special requests are accepted and implemented at any time and that too creates a pleasant environment. Been there for dinner several times. It always tastes very good. Unless the cook is in love and the sauce is a bit too salty. Just like two days ago. But overall very recommendable.

I just read the reviews and can't understand them at all. We were guests at a party at the end of last year and we have to say it was a fiasco! Anyone who can cook for themselves is out of place here, as well as those who want service, hospitality and quality. There are few alternatives in Kaufbeuren, restaurants with Bavarian cuisine are rare, but spending money on this in the "Engel" is out of the question for us.

Great restaurant with local food of the region Allgäu. We eat here since years when we want something hearty. Severel menu options and big portions. Sometimes in the summer evening there is live music in the Biergarten.
